iPhones – is there anything they can’t do?

Well, they can’t make Coffee, yet.

The standard Apple iPhone offers many features in one portable hand held device. Music, video, photos, internet, etc.

Keep up to date with your friends / colleagues via a Facebook application, and receive email and all your shared info easily from your mail server, as seen in this Fastmetrics post here.

By downloading iPhone applications, you can take your iPhone to the next level. Turn it into a musical instrument with applications like Ocarina. This application allows you to “play” your iPhone like a wind instrument, and listen to other users play live in real time, across the globe. Best of all? This application costs $1.

Check out some Ocarina sounds here in this YouTube clip.

With over 15,000 applications available and the birth of the online applications store, Ocarina and many others, are both accessible and cheap.

David Pogue looks into Ocarina more in his post from the New York Times.

Happy reading.
